ATR 42-600 fleet panel showing seats, range and speed

Run an Airline Aircraft Guide: Seats, Range and Speed

Every aircraft card lists three numbers that decide what it can do: seats set the revenue ceiling, range sets the routes it can legally fly, and speed feeds the quoted block time. Only the ATR 42-600 has published values here because it is the only panel shown in the reviewed session.

The verified aircraft

The ATR 42-600 panel in the reviewed recording showed a class label of turboprop · short range, 48 seats, 1,300 km of range and 500 km/h, assigned to DXB ↔ KWI, an 854 km sector quoted at 3 hours.

Those five values are the entire verified aircraft dataset for this game at the time of writing. The wider fleet exists — the interface names a Dash 8 and a 737-700 as purchase targets — but their panels were never on screen, so their numbers are not published here.

What each number controls

Seats are the revenue ceiling: passengers carried cannot exceed them, and load factor is measured against them. Range is a hard gate on route legality. Speed is informational, because the game quotes a block time that is longer than distance divided by speed.

That last point is worth repeating: 854 km at 500 km/h is about 1.7 hours of cruise, yet the card quoted 3 hours. Never derive a flight's duration from speed; read the quoted time.

What to check before assigning an aircraft

  • Range against the sector distance.
  • Seats against the passengers the route actually carries.
  • Quoted block time against the session time you have available.
  • Whether the aircraft is already assigned elsewhere.
  • Whether the cash gap the hint quotes leaves you a reserve.
QUICK ANSWERS

Aircraft questions

How many aircraft are in the game?

The full list is not published. The official description promises aircraft from regional turboprops to long-haul jets, and the interface names at least the ATR 42-600, Dash 8, 737-700 and Concorde.

Is speed worth paying for?

Speed matters through block time, because shorter flights mean more cycles per session. The verified ATR 42-600 runs at 500 km/h, and the only published speed modifier is the +50% Flight Speed pass, which cuts flight time by 33%.

Do aircraft have running costs?

A per-flight cost clearly exists, because the route card can report a negative result on a route with passengers. The cost breakdown is not published; the calculator asks you to enter the cost you observe.

Can one aircraft fly several routes?

The fleet panel shows a single assigned route per aircraft in the reviewed session. Plan one route per aircraft until your client shows a way to schedule more.
