Run an Airline Flight Cycle Planner

Work out how many flights fit into a session from the quoted block time and your turnaround, and see exactly what the +50% Flight Speed pass changes: a 33% shorter flight, or 1.5× the cycles.

What this planner answers

It answers how many complete cycles you can run before your session ends, and what the speed pass does to that number. A cycle is a flight plus whatever time you spend between flights reading the card and adjusting settings.

The default 180-minute block time comes from the reviewed ATR 42-600 flying 854 km, which the game quoted as 3 hours.

Cycles per session

Set the quoted block time, your turnaround and the session length. The pass switch applies the developer's stated 33% reduction.

Difference the pass makes

The +50% Flight Speed pass reduces flight duration to two thirds; the planner applies that factor only to flight time, not to your turnaround.

Why 50% speed is not 50% more flights

A 50% speed increase divides travel time by 1.5, which removes one third of the duration. The store states the result directly: flights finish 33% sooner.

Turnaround time does not shrink, so the gain in cycles is smaller than the gain in flight time. That is why the planner keeps the two separate.

QUICK ANSWERS

Cycle planner questions

What turnaround should I enter?

Use the time you actually spend between flights reading the card and changing settings. If you change nothing, it can be near zero; if you compare two settings, it is minutes, not seconds.

Does the pass affect flights already in the air?

The store describes the effect as permanent and applies to active flights finishing sooner. The planner treats it as a multiplier on every flight.

Can I run several aircraft at once?

Yes, each aircraft flies its own assigned route. The planner models one aircraft; multiply the cycle count by the number of aircraft you can keep busy.

Is the quoted block time always a round number?

The reviewed sector showed 3 hours for 854 km, which is round. Do not assume rounding; enter the exact figure your card shows.
